Mechanical: roamr uses a 3D-printed chassis built around a compact two-wheel differential drive configuration with a ball caster for support and stability. It uses brushless DC motors selected to balance torque and speed performance with affordability and safety (backdriveable/compliant). An adjustable phone stand is integrated into the design, allowing the smartphone to be securely mounted while accommodating different viewing angles and configurations.
